Processing & Fulfillment

Fresh Roasted to Order

We don't keep pre-roasted coffee sitting on shelves. Every order is roasted fresh specifically for you, ensuring maximum flavor and quality when it arrives at your door.

Order Processing Timeline:

  • Orders placed before 2 PM EST: Same day roasting
  • Orders placed after 2 PM EST: Next business day roasting
  • Weekend orders: Roasted Monday morning

Business Days:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST
  • Sunday: Closed

Shipping Areas

Ohio

We currently ship only to Ohio because we operate under Ohio Cottage Laws which restricts selling outside of Ohio. We may expand into other states upon demand. Contact us to let us know you're interested. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when expanded shipping becomes available. In the meantime, if you place an order with a shipping address outside of Ohio we will unfortunately not be able to fulfill the order and will refund your money.

Special Considerations:

  • • PO Boxes: Accepted for standard shipping only
  • • Military APO/FPO addresses: Contact us for special arrangements

International Shipping

We do not currently plan to ship outside the United States.

Special Circumstances

Weather Delays

Severe weather conditions may cause shipping delays beyond our control. During extreme weather events:

  • • Tracking information will be updated by the carrier
  • • We may hold shipments to prevent damage from extreme temperatures
  • • Contact us if your order is significantly delayed

Damaged or Lost Packages

While rare, packages can occasionally be damaged or lost during transit:

  • • Contact us immediately if your package arrives damaged
  • • We'll work with the carrier to file a claim
  • • Replacement coffee will be sent at no charge
  • • Lost packages are replaced once carrier confirms loss
  • • Take photos of damaged packages for insurance claims

Address Changes

Need to change your shipping address? Here's what you need to know:

  • • Address changes must be requested within 2 hours of ordering
  • • Contact us immediately at info@javamate.net
  • • Once shipped, address changes require carrier intervention
  • • Additional fees may apply for address changes after shipping
  • • Verify your address carefully during checkout

Holiday & Peak Season Shipping

Peak Season Considerations

During busy periods (Black Friday through New Year, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day), shipping times may be extended due to increased carrier volume.

Holiday Deadlines:

  • • Christmas delivery: Order by December 18th
  • • New Year delivery: Order by December 27th
  • • Valentine's Day: Order by February 10th
  • • Mother's Day: Order by May 8th
