Coffee & Products
We roast to order and ship within 24 hours of roasting. This ensures you receive your coffee at peak freshness, typically within 2-5 days of the roast date.
We offer whole bean and several grind options including coarse (French Press), medium-coarse (pour over), medium (drip coffee), medium-fine (V60), and fine (espresso). We recommend whole bean for maximum freshness.
Store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from light and heat. Avoid the refrigerator or freezer. Whole beans stay fresh for 2-3 weeks, while ground coffee is best used within 1-2 weeks.
Light roasts preserve origin characteristics with bright acidity and floral notes. Medium roasts balance origin flavors with roast character. Medium-dark roasts have more body with chocolate and caramel notes. Dark roasts emphasize roast flavors with bold, smoky characteristics.
Our decaf coffees use water processing, a chemical-free method that removes 99.9% of caffeine while preserving the coffee's natural flavors. This process uses only water, temperature, and time.
Yes, our organic coffees are certified organic by accredited certification bodies. We work with suppliers who maintain proper organic certification throughout the supply chain.

Brewing & Preparation
Our coffees are versatile and work well with most brewing methods. Light roasts excel in pour-over and French press, medium roasts are great for drip coffee and espresso, while dark roasts shine in espresso and cold brew.
We recommend starting with a 1:15 to 1:17 ratio (1g coffee to 15-17g water). For example, use 25g coffee to 375-425g water. Adjust to taste - use more coffee for stronger brew, less for milder.
Absolutely! Coffee is 98% water, so quality matters. Use filtered water if your tap water is heavily chlorinated or has strong mineral tastes. Ideal water temperature is 195-205°F (90-96°C).
Grind size controls extraction speed. Coarse grinds (French press) extract slowly, fine grinds (espresso) extract quickly. Match your grind to your brewing method and adjust if coffee tastes too weak (grind finer) or too bitter (grind coarser).
Use a fine grind, aim for 18-20g coffee for a double shot, extract in 25-30 seconds for 36-40g liquid. If it's too fast, grind finer; if too slow, grind coarser. Fresh coffee (5-14 days post-roast) works best for espresso.
