Webiny DynamoDB Only At Last
I’ve been keeping an eye on Webiny for a while as I share their vision of serverless. When I first tried Webiny a year and a half ago it had one key piece of the architecture that was not fully serverless: the database. It required MongoDB at the time, but I really wanted it to support DynamoDB. I realize DynamoDB is an AWS technology, but it is a fully managed serverless service with very impressive performance characteristics and a very affordable pricing model.
So I was very happy to read today that Webinay has been rearchitected to support DynamoDB only as an option.
